SOUTH BEND - Virginia L. Rudasics, 95, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018, in her residence. Virginia was born September 11, 1922 in Abilene, Texas to the late Cleo Ferrell and Chloe (Belt). On September 1, 1951 in South Bend, Virginia married Julius Joseph Rudasics, who died December 15, 1981. In May of 1985, she married Howard Jones, who passed away in August of 1995. Virginia is survived by her son, Julius Joseph (Martina M.) Rudasics Jr. of South Bend; five grandchildren, Heather (Boone) Fisher, Shawn Rudasics, Christina Rudasics, M. Nicole Rudasics, and Julius Rudasics III; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Kinzer of Atlanta, Georgia; and a brother, Jim Ferrell of South Bend. Virginia retired as an inspector for Bendix Corporation. She attended Christ the King Catholic Church, and was a former member of V.F.W. Auxiliary in Roseland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4 at the funeral home. In Virginia's memory, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 230 W.
