SOUTH BEND - Services for Anne M. (Wukovits) Scheu, 78, of Dale Avenue, who died of natural causes at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Scheu retired from the University of Notre Dame in 1988, after 25 years of service. She was born Aug. 3, 1917, in South Bend. On June 29, 1940, in South Bend, as Anne Wukovits, she married Joseph Orban. He died July 17, 1951. On Sept. 27, 1952, in South Bend, she married Frank L. Scheu. He died April 7, 1995.

Surviving are a daughter, Marie E. Hadley of Granger; two sons, Joseph J. Orban of Granger and Frank L. Scheu of Osceola; two grandchildren; two sisters, Gizella M. Desits of North Liberty and Velma C. Crone of Granger; and two brothers, William F. and Frank N. Wukovits, both of South Bend.
