Melvin and Lois (Walkowiak) were married on May 25, 1957 at St. Stanislaus Church in South Bend, IN. They currently reside in a Villa in Mishawaka, IN. Melvin loves to sit and listen to the water in the pond and watch the geese. He retired from the South Bend Fire Department as Battalion Chief after 32 years and 10 years as a liaison for the City and the Fire Department. Lois retired 7 years ago after working for Cloud Brothers as an Interior Designer for 30 years. The marriage gave birth to 3 sons; Kevin (Shelley), Keith and Kerry (Karla). They were given 8 loving grandchildren. Kera & Adam (deceased), Kyle and Elisa, Kailey, Ashley, Nicole and Carter. Life has had its moments, we thank God for all of them.
