SOUTH BEND - Virginia M. Kovach, 87, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Regency Place in South Bend, with her family at her bedside. Virginia was born on August 11, 1923, in South Bend to the late Marion and Mary (Bednarek) Niezgodski. Her daughters, Denice (Jim) Barrett of Granger, Diane (Douglas) Kovach of South Bend and DebraWagoner of Noblesville, IN, survive Virginia. Virginia was a loving and caring grandmother to four grandchildren, Kelly Barrett, Aaron, Noah and Maya Wagoner. A brother Donald Niezgodski and a cousin Kathleen Michor precede Virginia in death Virginia retired in 1990 after ten years of service, as a Claims Taker of the Indiana State Employment Service. Virginia was a former member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in South Bend. The family is honoring Virginia's wishes to be cremated. There will be no visitation or service. Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, assisted the family with the arrangements.
