60th Wedding
Bernard and Riek Eggink of Granger will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on April 19, 2012. They were married at St. Bavo's Catholic Church in Mishawaka and have lived in Granger most of their married life. They have five children, Jo (Rick) Paczkowski of Warsaw, Cecilia (John) Thompson, Lucy (Jody) Davis, and Rick (Kim) Eggink all of Granger, and Pam Friend of Elkhart. They have been blessed with six grandchildren, Jennifer Mais, Tracy Vineis, Kim Hutt, Ben Davis, Nicole Davis, and Ryan Thompson, and also with four great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Ian, Emily, and Alyssa. Bernard and Riek retired after having owned Bernard's Food Center in Granger for 23 years. They will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
