SOUTH BEND - Floretta Marie Rajski Stout, 78, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 15, 1931 in South Bend, IN to Daniel and Ruby (Slates) Dion. On June 15, 1985 in the Lydick United Methodist Church in South Bend, she married Ronald Lee Stout, who survives. Mrs. Stout is survived by daughters, Janis (Larry) Glisinski-Levin and Anne M. (Jim) Kimmerly both of Lexington, KY; son, Steve (Cindy) Rajski of South Bend, IN; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; mother, Ruby Dion of South Bend, IN and two sisters, JoAnn Hofferth of Osceola, IN and Lois "Cookie" Kruszewski of Lake of the Woods, Bremen, IN. She is also survived by her loyal caregiver, Ashley Balentine of South Bend, IN. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Rajski. Mrs. Stout was a waitress for Hans Haus for over thirty years, where she was known to many as "Fleet". She also was a waitress for Macri's and Chauncey's A & W. She enjoyed playing golf at the Bowler's Country Club, where she was a bartender. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 2, 2010 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. Burial took place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family received friends Wednesday in the funeral home.
