"ILLNESS FATAL TO WOMAN, 70
"Services Friday For Mrs. Cuskaden
"Mrs. Nora Cuskaden, 70, a resident of Greensburg in recent years and a former resident of the St. Paul community, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in Michigan Hill Nursing Home here. "For several years she had been in declining health. Her condition had been serious for three months. "A native of the St. Paul community in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Jacob and Alice Bales Favors. She was born on Aug. 14, 1895. She was reared in the St. Paul community, where she lived for many years. "Her marriage to Alpha Cherry took place on Aug. 20, 1913. He passed away on Jan. 5, 1927.
"On June 4, 1928, she was married at St. Paul to Robert Cuskaden, who preceded her in death on March 9, 1963.
"Mrs. Cuskaden was a member of the First Christian Church in Greensburg. "The survivors include: Four sons, Robert Cherry and James Cuskaden of Greensburg, George Cherry of Hicksville, O., and William Cherry of R.R. 6, Greensburg; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Hoffman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Curtis (Marjorie) Schwind and Mrs. James (Margie) Woodard of Greensburg; and 12 grandchildren. "A brother and four sisters also survive. They are: Emmett Favors of Indianapolis, Mrs. Maude Brooks of Oxford, O., Mrs. Mabel Richey of Manilla and Mrs. Clara Craig and Mrs. Nellie Garrett, both of St. Paul. "A granddaughter, Linda Sue Cherry, died in 1950. "Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. "Burial will be in Paul Hill Cemetery at St. Paul. "Visitation at the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Thursday."
