MISHAWAKA, IN - Cheryl Jean McQueen Borsodi passed away September 1 at 4:00 am at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana in Indianapolis, with her loving husband Terry at her side. Cheryl was born September 29, 1965 in South Bend to Peter D. McQueen and Carol Jean McQueen. She married Terry T. Borsodi on August 10, 1985, who remained the love of her life and she the love of his. From that loving union, came their sons, Terry T. Borsodi II (Danielle) and Tylor J. Borsodi (Heather) of Mishawaka, who survive her. Cheryl is also survived by her husband, Terry T. Borsodi; her father, Peter McQueen (Carol L.) of Floral City, FL; her mother, Carol J. McQueen of Mishawaka; her brother, Brian D. McQueen of Mishawaka; and a sister, Terri Bowman of Bristol, as well one granddaughter, Lillian. Cheryl was a lifetime resident of Mishawaka and graduated from Penn High School. She also attended a year at Brown Mackie College. She was a stay-at-home mother who was also a passionate advocate for rescue and shelter dogs. On the weekends she enjoyed long trips talking and driving with her husband. A Requiem Eucharist will be held Saturday, September 22 at 11 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 616 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
