SOUTH BEND - David William Speybroeck, 65, of South Bend, died Wednesday, April 29th, in Hospice House of South Bend. David was born December 2, 1949, in South Bend, to the late Helen I. (Medich) and Joseph William Speybroeck, and was a lifetime area resident. On April 2, 1976, in South Korea, he married Myong Suk Byun, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, David J. Spey-broeck (Shannon) of Elkhart and Dustin R. Speybroeck of South Bend; two grandchildren, Ryne and Jace Spey-broeck, both of Elkhart; his sister, Carol Handley (Robert) of Granger; and two brothers, Joseph W. Speybroeck, Jr. (Kathy) and Robert Speybroeck (Mary Thurston), both of South Bend. David was a dedicated hard-working man who retired from National Wine and Spirits. He was a devoted father and grandfather and a loving husband. He enjoyed fishing with his family and fishing in the Michiana Steel Headers Club with his brother Bob. He was an enthusiast of sports and a lifelong Cubs fan. David enjoyed coaching his son's baseball teams, and oil painting and ink drawing were an amazing talent of his. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him. As per David's wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place at Welsheimer Crematory. The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North is assisting the family with
