SOUTH BEND - Dolores Przybysz, 86, passed away at 9:40 am Friday, November 28, 2014, at Healthwin. Dolores was born Sept. 19, 1928, in South Bend, to the late Harry and Leona (Paprocki) Nowicki. On Feb. 12, 1947, in South Bend, Dolores married Alex Przybysz, who preceded her in death on October 28, 1987. Survivors include daughters, Constance (James) Ebel of South Bend, Linda (Paul) Pawelski-Bragg of New Carlisle and Patricia (Stephen) Zmyslo of Stevensville, MI; sons, Joseph (Catherine) Przybysz of Niles, MI, Alex (Sheila) Przybysz, Jr. of South Bend and Richard Przybysz of Dallas, TX; sister, Joan Michalski of South Bend; sister-in-law, Wanita Przybysz of South Bend; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dolores was a co-owner and operator with her husband, Alex, at A&J Food Market; she was a past officer of American Legion 357 Women's Auxiliary and a member of PNA 83. Dolores was a faithful Catholic throughout her life. Visitation is 2-7 pm Friday, December 5, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, December 6, 2014, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 309 S. Taylor Street. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
