MISHAWAKA - Susanna Marie Muszynski, 72, of Ray Street, passed away Thursday morning at her residence. She was born August 3, 1935, in South Milwaukee, WI to James and Bernice (Holcomb) Beck, who both preceded her in death. On June 28th, 1956, in Osceola, she married Edward Muszynski. He survives with four children, Linda (Duane) VanderWerf of Elkhart, Lora (Brian) Schrader, Mike (Jennifer) Muszynski and Mark (Susie) Muszynski, all of Mishawaka. Eleven grandchildren, Jeremy, Chris, Josh, Kevin, Cory, Kristin, Stacie, Ryan, Sarah, Leah and Mary. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Iyanah and Teagen. She was preceded in death by a son, George Thompkins III and three granddaughters, Shawna Southwood, Stephanie Muszynski and Michelle Muszynski. A brother and a sister also preceded her in death , Charles Beck and Marilyn Kindley. Mrs. Muszynski was employed by Burcliff Industries in Mishawaka for several years. She was a member of Currant Road Church of Christ in Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka. where friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Officiating the services will be Rev. Jay Winter with burial following the services at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Currant Road Church of Christ, Mishawaka or to the South Bend Food Bank. Published in the South Bend Tribune on 1/26/2008.
