Guy Eckels, Gary, IN Guy Eckels, age 88 of Gary, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2003. Guy was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church in Miller. He was the owner of Shepard Elevator Service. He is survived by his loving wife, Genevieve Eckels of Gary, In; two sons, Guy J. Eckels of Lakewood, OH and Theodore Eckels of Gary; one brother William H. Eckels of Valparaiso, one sister, Frances Tockstein of Valparaiso and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 5, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 6060 Miller Avenue, Gary (Miller) Rev. Thomas Mischler, officiating. Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may meet with the family at the Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) corner of Rt 51 and 7th Street on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
