Doris J. Dudeck, 92, of Milton Home, formerly of Hartzer Street, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, November 26, 2000, in the Milton Home. Mrs. Dudeck was born on October 22, 1908, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident. On December 1, 1928, in South Bend, as Doris J. O'Dell, she married Alex C. Dudeck, who passed away on May 9, 1989. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. Biddle of High Ridge, Missouri; two sons, Thomas A. Dudeck of South Bend, IN, Jon A. Dudeck of Fairhope, Alabama; sixteen grandchildren, Kenneth, Kathleen, Chuck, Kathy, Rob, Ron, Mike, Krisiti, Tom, Tori, Lisa, Joe, Jon Jr., Kevin, Kelly, Luanne; two step-grandchildren, Mark and Linda; twenty-five great-grandchildren, Christina, Carissa, Chuckie, Cayden, Andrea, Julia, Vanessa, Adam, Cassidy, Nicole, Vince, Brett, Noel, Kevin Jr., Ryan, Rosilyn, Cameron, Brandon, Alyssa, Casey, Levi, Jesse, Zachery, Cayla, Nicole; six step-great-grandchildren, Spenser, Elliott, Jonathan, Zachery, Kiersten, Drew; and three great-great-grandchildren, Brendan, Evan and Coan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2000, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Mrs. Dudeck was a member of the St. John the Baptist retirees' club. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
