Patricia A Ciesielski, 92 years old, passed peacefully on December 25, 2022 at the Sanctuary at St. Paul’s. Patricia was born on March 3, 1930 in South Bend, IN to the late Chester and Joan (Laskowski) Kafka. Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Leon Ciesielski; as well as, William Ciesielski. Left to cherish the memory of Patricia are her children, Monica (Kevin) Robinson, Teresa (Earnest) Broyles, Rosanne (Adam) Holman, Joan Nguyen, Lisa (Jason) Lavine, Stephen Ciesielski, Andrew Ciesielski; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia was a very talented artist who loved drawing, painting, and knitting. She could bake anything you could think of. Patricia loved baking so much that she made wedding cakes for most of the West side of South Bend. Visitation for Patricia will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Funeral Home 824 S Mayflower Rd, with a Funeral Service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, the employees of St. Paul’s, and many friends and family who visited Patricia, especially Barbara James for their kindness and caring hearts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Patricia may be made out to Heartland Hospice 230 W Catalpa Dr. Mishawaka, IN 46545.
