Thomas Wayne Renaldi, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at home in Mishawaka. Tom was born in Elkhart, IN, on April 27, 1938, to the late Angelo and Joyce (Hagerty) Renaldi. On August 19, 1967, Tom married the former Betsy Jarvis who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Beth Renaldi. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Renaldi. Tom graduated from Elkhart High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in the Philippines, where he was part of Army Intelligence. He earned a graduate degree from the University of Chicago and taught for a time at the University of Notre Dame. Later he worked in the insurance industry. Post-retirement he worked part time at Martin’s Supermarket, where he enjoyed helping customers. Tom was a longtime parishioner at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 2310 E.
