Mrs. Frances Kazmierczak, of 421 S Jackson St., died at 7am today in her home after an illness of a day.
She was born in Poznan, Poland, June 1, 1881, and came to South Bend 54 years ago from there. On February 14, 1904, she was married as Miss Frances Jankowiak to George Kazmierczak, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Radecki, Mrs. Alice Dygulski, Mrs. Jean Andrysiak and Mrs. Bernice Kazmierczak; two sons, Ted & Chester; one step daughter, Mrs. Lottie Ogorek; and two stepsons, Anthony & Michel Kazmierczak; 20 grandchildren; and a brother, Martin Jankowiak, all of South Bend.
Friends may call after 6pm Saturday in St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9am Monday in St Adalbert's Catholic Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Polish Cemetery. Mrs. Kazmierczak was a member of the Ladies Holy Rosary Society and the Royal Neighbors of America.
