Martha L. "Marty" LeDuc, 86, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:55 pm in Franciscan Home Communities, Michigan City, Indiana. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, Indiana with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Thursday in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City and Friday from 9:15 am until the time service Friday at Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. The Rosary will be held at 7:30pm Thursday evening in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. She was born January 23, 1929 in New Buffalo, Michigan to the late William and Victoria (Jucha) Kanger. On September 23, 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Kenneth R. LeDuc, who preceded her on June 28, 1987. Surviving are Son, Daniel (Vickie) LeDuc of Annapolis, Maryland; Two Grandchildren, Andrew LeDuc and Anna LeDuc both of Annapolis, Maryland; Sister, Helen Evans of New Buffalo, Michigan; Many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Four Sisters, Dorothy Pahs, Mary Coffman, Katherine Sulek and Frances Mihalik; Four Brothers, Stanley Kanger, Anton Kanger, John Kanger and Frank Kanger; Marty was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and later Queen of All Saints Catholic Church where she was a choir member since 1979 and also with the consolation choir since 1990. She was a homemaker but in earlier years was employed in the offices of Sprague Devices, Michiana Products and Triplex Plating. She was a member of the Catholic Woman's Study Club, Holy Cross associate with the Holy Cross Sisters of Notre Dame, Indiana. She taught CCD at St. Mary's Catholic Church, volunteered at St. Anthony Hospital in Pastoral care under Father James Dean., CSC. Marty also assisted reading with the 1st graders at Queen of all Saints School. She loved and admired the Holy Cross family and the University of Notre Dame. She was a loyal fan of Notre Dame football.........."Go Irish", but most of all loved and treasured her family and adored her grandchildren.Contributions may be made to Queen of All Saints Catholic Church 606 S.
