His love for cooking, his buddies at the hall, his strong work ethic and good health kept him working until this past year. Stan liked to watch Notre Dame football and basketball and was a big Chicago White Sox fan. He particularly enjoyed cheering on the Sox as they went on to win the World Series in 2005. Stan enjoyed playing his two favorite slot machines at the Blue Chip and had fun riding the bus with his friends to the Four Winds Casino. His friends always said Stashu was “Easy to Love”. He also looked forward to having breakfast with his friends at Tradewinds Restaurant. Over the last several years he spent much of his time visiting his wife at the Sanctuary at Holy Cross and enjoyed helping out there especially with Bingo. Stan was a devoted husband of 66 years, loving father, supportive grandfather and great-grandfather, caring uncle, Godfather, loyal son, brother, and good friend.
