Mary Ruth Fenzau, residing in Carmel, Indiana; formerly of South Bend, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022, in Indianapolis, IN. She was 95 years old. She was born August 29, 1926, in South Bend, a daughter of the late John Henry & Naomi (Carr) Hock. On December 29, 1950, in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Chris (Clarence Alva) Fenzau. Together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage until his passing on January 10, 2013. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen M. Oman, and two brothers, John F. Hock, and Donald D. Hock. Mary worked in the Banking business for many years and was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.She is survived by her son, Jeff Fenzau of Carmel, IN; her sister, Konnie J. Broaddus of Longwood, FL; and her brother James D. Hock of South Bend. Also surviving are two special nieces, Kim (Russ) Abell of Wabash, IN; Karen (Ron) Feltz of Celina, OH; brother-in-law, Ray Oman of Carmel, and sister-in-law, Ruth Hock of Granger, IN.Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Riverview Cemetery 2300 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616.
