MISHAWAKA-Max F. Christman,69, of West 11th street,Mishawaka,Ind.,passed away unexpectedly early on Sunday,Sept.27,in his residence.Max was born on May,23,1929,in Mishawaka,to Henry and Erma(Rumple)Christman,who both preceded him in death.
On June 9,1962,in Niles,Mich. Max married the former Joan Neher,who survives. He is also survived by two sons, Brian and Jeff Christman of Mishawaka; a stepdaughter, Diana Shrader of South Bend;two grandchildren,Steven and Ashley Christman of Mishawaka;three septgrandchildren,Dawn,Dustin and david Eric Shrader,all of South Bend;A sister,Margo Klein of Mishawaka; and a brother Terry Christman of Mishawaka. Max had been empolyed for 18 years as a plant supervisor at the former C&C mobile homes in Elkhart,Ind. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.29 in the Thallermer-Goethals funeral home. Services will be helt at 11 a.m. on Wednesday,Sept.30, in the funeral home,interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola,Ind.
