MISHAWAKA - Leona K. Bukrajewski, 77, of Mishawaka, died Monday, July 3, 2017. The Warsaw native was born September 21, 1939, to Thomas & Esther (Bratt) Garee. Leona graduated from Mishawaka High School with the Class of ‘58 and on January 10, 1959, she married Walter J. Bukrajewski, who survives after 58 years of marriage. Leona retired from Imaginering Corp. In addition to Walt, she is also survived by their children, Tammy (Mark) Kucsera & Lori (Keith) Beaudoin, both of South Bend, and Derek (Jennifer) Bukrajewski of Mishawaka; her sisters, Pat (Ron) Johns and Alice Conway, both of Mishawaka; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Richard & Robert Garee and her sister, Donna Reynolds. Funeral services 2:00 Friday, July 7, 2017, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call on Friday from 12-2 pm at the funeral home. Entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
