SOUTH BEND, IN - Sharon Kay Parmley (Riba), 74, was born in South Bend, Indiana to Esther (Nickoley) and Robert Riba. She lived in the South Bend and Mishawaka area until she retired from the IN Dept. of Workforce Development and moved to Melbourne, FL with her husband of over 50 years, Douglas “Poopsie” Parmley. After Doug's death in 2016, Sharon returned to the South Bend area to be near her children: Laura Sparks (Jason), Robert Parmley (Wendy), and Robin Waesche (Ryan), and her six grandchildren. A family service will be held at a later date. Published in South Bend Tribune on Mar. 7, 2021.
