Joseph Kolczynski, 77, of North 30th Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness at 4:57 a.m.Monday, April 21, in Memorial Hospital. Joseph was born on Dec.29, 1925, in North Liberty, Ind., and was a lifetime area resident. He was a World War II Army veteran. Joseph retired in 1988 after 42 years of service from Mastic Corporation, South Bend. On Oct.15, 1955, in South Bend, Joseph married Lois Mulderink, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Nancy Riggs of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son, Joseph (Debra) Kolczynski Jr.of Fort Wayne, Ind.;four grandchildren, Randy Kolczynski, Robin Kolczynski, Dustin Troup and Autum Cox;two step-grandchildren, Michael Carter and Mitchell Carter; one step-great-grandchild, Dessira Carter;and by three sisters, Lottie Wist of South Bend, Florence Turza of Mishawaka, Ind., and Catherine (Eddie) Van Laere of South Bend.
There will not be any visitation or services. The Bubb Funeral Chapel North, Mishawaka, handled arrangements.
