Beverly Jean Hutchinson
Oct. 18, 1942 - July 12, 1999

Beverly J. Hutchinson, 56 years old, residing at 1001 W. Hively Avenue, Elkhart, IN, passed away at 8:10 A.M. on Monday, July 12, 1999, at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, after an extended illness. Mrs. Hutchinson worked for Associates in South Bend for several years and then retired from H. Theodore Noell & Associates, Attorney-at-Law, also in South Bend. Beverly was born on October 18, 1942, in South Bend, to the late John W. and Dorothy A. (Rosczewich) Rupel. She has been a lifelong area resident. On July 9, 1994, in Elkhart, she married Michael D. Hutchinson, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Kimberley J. Noell of Elkhart; one son, Barry T. Noell of Bridgeport, CT; one stepdaughter, Katie Hutchinson of South Bend; one stepson, Michael P. Hutchinson of South Bend; two sisters, Bonnie M. Asbury of South Bend and Barbara S. Kimmey of Papillion, Neb.; and one brother, Barry L. Rupel of Noblesville, IN. Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, a Mother Advisor for several years for the International Order of the Rainbow for girls in Indiana-Mishawaka Assembly, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 2 in South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 15, 1999, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. James Iliff, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home where the Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services at 7:00 p.m. Contributions in memory of Beverly J. Hutchinson may be donated to the Dad Noell Scholarship Foundation, Indiana University at South Bend. (nf) South Bend Tribune 7/14/1999
