Joan C. Kunde, 74, of Locust Road, South Bend, Ind., died on Sunday morning, Dec. 17, in the Healthwin Nursing Home. Joan was born on Sept. 11, 1926, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Karl and Augusta (Kush) Krienke. She lived most of her life in South Bend, and worked as a bookkeeper at Kuert Concrete. Joan is survived by three daughters, Sharon Kunde of Lakeville, Ind., Jacqueline (Tim) Enright and Linda Palmer, both of South Bend; four grandchildren, Christine Palmer, Michael Palmer, Brian Palmer and Bret Enright. Services for Joan C. Kunde will be held at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 20, in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, with the Rev. Gregory Fiechtner of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will take place at Portage Prairie Cemeter, South Bend. The family received callers from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 19, in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The family asks that donations in memory of Joan C.
