SOUTH BEND - Mark Andrew Kulwicki Jr., 41, of South Bend, died Monday, July 7, 2014. He was born February 27, 1973, in South Bend, to Sharon and Mark Andrew Kulwicki, and was a lifetime area resident. He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Kulwicki of South Bend; parents, Mark Kulwicki Sr. (Diana) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Sharon George of South Bend; maternal grandparents, Mary and J.C. Corley of South Bend; paternal grandmother, Mary Kulwicki of Edwardsburg; a sister, Mandy Elston (Eric) of Indianapolis; and nephews, Cody and Baylen Elston. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel Kulwicki. Mark enjoyed fishing and barbequing and spending time with his family. The Steelers and Notre Dame were his favorite teams, and Rock-N-Roll his music. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home one hour prior to services. Cremation will be in the Welsheimer Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
