SOUTH BEND - Peter M. Paszli, 93, passed away at 8:58 pm on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Inwood Hills Estates. Peter was born September 28, 1918 in South Bend to the late Peter and Cecelia (Horvath) Paszli. On November 17, 1951, in New Carlisle, Peter married Gladys C. Wartha; she preceded him in death in 2010, along with son, Fredrick H. Paszli; and sisters, Theresa McCubbins, Cecelia Kolar, Gizella Paszli and Rose Doczy. Peter is survived by son, Peter M. Paszli of Hot Springs, Arkansas; stepson, Roy Fozo of Mishawaka, IN; two grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Peter honorably served his country in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. Peter retired from the Bendix Corporation after years of service. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church. Peter loved to fish and take care of his yard. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral home, Thursday, June 28, 2012. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
