Janete Caffery Schoenfeld Bice, passed away peacefully in her home in South Bend, IN. She was proceeded in death by husband Jeff Schoenfeld, father Frank L. Caffery, her mother Olga Frick, her stepfather Lawrence Frick, brother Gary Caffery, stepbrothers: Lawrence Frick, Jr., Robert Frick, and stepsister Barbara Van Es. She is survived by her husband Jerry Bice and her son Nick Schoenfeld, daughter Taylor Hale (Matt), brother Michael Caffery (Linda), sisters: Yvonne Caffery (Jamie Sue Zygulski) and Betsy Kirwan (Kevin). She was known as Omie to her beloved five grandchildren: McKenna, Nathan, Landon, Alyssa, and Carter. Janete had a quick wit and could see the humor in almost any situation. Her family and friends will miss her and the good times we shared but wish her a peaceful journey and a happy reunion with loved ones that went on before her. The family with receive friends on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Hahn Funeral Home, located at 505 w 8th Street Mishawaka. There will be no formal service.
