SOUTH BEND - South Bend- Stella Frazier, 92, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Greenleaf Health Campus of Elkhart. Stella was born February 27, 1924 in South Bend, to the late Steve and Mary (Stopczynski) Rudynski. On February 14, 1944, Stella married her husband Russell Frazier; he preceded her in death on January 26, 2012. Stella was also preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Schrader and Clara Smith; brothers, Bert, Walter, and Albert Rudynski; and granddaughter, Valerie Auer. Survivors of Stella include her children, Carol (John) Auer of Middlebury, and Kathaleen Frazier of South Bend; her brother, Louis Rudynski; granddaughters, Sara (David) Baylis, and Kristin (Casey) Auer-Cook; 7 great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Tess, Tame Baylis, Jace and Annika Cook and Zane Auer. Stella was a cashier with Thrift-T-Mart for 16 years. She was a member of the Retired Retail Clerks #37. Stella enjoyed gardening, traveling and playing cards with her lady friends. Most of all, Stella loved spending time with her family, friends and her pet dog, Samson. Visitation for Stella will be 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Sunday, January 29, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00am Monday, January 30, 2017 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt.
