Dear God: How does a daughter begin to thank her Mother for life itself? For the love, patience and just plain hard work that go into raising a child. How can I thank my Mom for being ready with advice (when asked) Or remaining silent when it was most appreciated? For being essentially herself - Loving, thoughtful, and forgiving. Please, Dear God, I'm asking You to take good care of my Mom and to help me live up to the example she has set for me. I pray that Mom knows that she wasn't only a Mom but a dear friend. Thank you Mom! Love you always, your daughter, Mickey
