SOUTH BEND - Marian M. Kluszczynski, 82, of South Bend, IN, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the home of her daughter, Mary Wroblewski. Marian was born on January 4, 1926, in South Bend, to William H. and Elsie (Nish) Griffis. She retired from Clark Equipment as a cost accountant and had lived in Bradenton, Florida, for 20 years after her retirement. On September 27, 1947, Marian married Ignatius Kluszczynski, who preceded her in death in May 1998. Surviving are her daughters, Mary (Jerry) Wroblewski of South Bend, IN, Shirley (Montey) Holloway of South Bend, IN, and Susan (Michael) Miller of Charlotte, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren, Steve (Megan) Wroblewski, Lisa (Bill) Andrews, Connie (Chad) Gentry, Christine (Jeff) Ort, Shani (Eric) Jobe, Matthew (Karen) Holloway, Andrew (Lisa) Holloway, Katie Holloway, Joseph (Emily) Miller and Angela (Steve) Schmidt; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William (Janet) Griffis of Anderson, IN. Her son, Michael Kluszczynski, preceded her in death in 1991, and her sister, Joan Wagner, in 2007. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 12, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until Mass time. Cremation has taken place. Marian was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
