SOUTH BEND - George A. Seifert, 92, of Paxson Drive, died at 8:45 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Seifert retired in 1981 from South Bend Tool and Die. He was born Aug. 23, 1903, in Rehau/Oberfranken, Germany, and came to the United States from Germany in 1923. On June 30, 1930, in New York City, he married Martha E. Pfitzenmaier. She died Nov. 3, 1984. Surviving are two sons, Robert of Ann Arbor and Richard of South Bend; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hans of Augsburg, Germany. He was a member of South Bend Turners and International Association of Machinists.
