Ann was born on June 10, 1936, in South Bend to the late Thomas and Alice (Talbot) Jeffers and had remained a life-long Indiana resident. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1954 and went on to become an X-Ray Technician. She married Edward Pukrop on June 24, 1972, and enjoyed 36 years of marriage until his passing in October, 2008. She was also preceded by two brothers - James Jeffers in 1993 and Thomas Jeffers in 2000 - as well as two sisters - Marie Mortensen in 2005 and Adrienne Eulitz in 2017. Ann is survived by two sons, Michael of Rockville, Maryland, and James of Frankfort, Indiana. She is also survived by a brother, Archie Jeffers of Homestead, Florida, and by her sister, Margaret Beckwith of Mishawaka, Indiana, and also many, many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation, though a graveside service will be at a later date. Details about the day and time of the graveside service will be posted when confirmed.
