SOUTH BEND - John V. Paszli, 79, passed away at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. John was born on December 3, 1929, in South Bend, to the late Geza and Katherine (Varro) Paszli. John was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Allen Paszli on January 20, 1981; brothers, Geza and Louie Paszli; and by a sister, Julie Steneck. On January 24, 1959, in Lakeville, IN, John married Connie (Six). She survives along with a daughter, Gay Lynne (Bela Jr.) Ban of South Bend; son, John (Marie) Paszli of Mentone, IN; sisters, Mary of Phoenix, AZ, and Katherine Kenna of South Bend. He worked as a machinist/assembler at Bendix/Honeywell for 30 years before retiring in 1982. Memories of him fishing, flying and hunting, and everything about him will forever live in our hearts. John was a man who enjoyed life, loved and cherished his family. There will be no services. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, is assisting the family.
