MISHAWAKA - Services for Anthony C. Mauro, 83, of Berkley Circle, who died at 3:50 a.m. Monday in Countryside Place, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a combined rosary will said at 3 p.m. by Sacred Heart and Rosary Society. Mr. Mauro retired from AlliedSignal and was a former employee of Joy Manufacturing Co. and Studebaker Corp. He was born Sept. 10, 1911, in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of his life. On Nov. 24, 1938, in South Bend, he married Gizella Szalay. She survives with a daughter, Carmella Laderer of Mishawaka; five sons, Tom of De Witt, Mich., Julius of South Bend, Frank of Kettering, Ohio, Joseph of Melbourne, Fla., and John of Mishawaka; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother, all in Italy.
