SOUTH BEND - Rosemary F. Nyerges, 88, passed away at 11:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the Hearth at Juday Creek. She was born on April 13, 1926 in South Bend to John and Neta (Cook) Andert. Rosemary was employed by Southside Electric and the Firefighters Credit Union. Rosemary enjoyed taking care of her house and her dog Tessie. She also enjoyed dining out with her husband and going to the Notre Dame Women's Basketball Games. On May 31, 1947 in South Bend she married Joseph N. Nyerges. He died on March 27, 2010. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Andert and John Andert. Surviving are a son, John (Stacy) Nyerges of Granger, two grandchildren, Matthew and Lindsay, numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Betty Andert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Thursday, March 19, 2015 in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
