Karl J. Marozsan, 81, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in his residence. Karl was born on August 7, 1939 in South Bend to Joseph and Geraldine (Thome) Marozsan. He retired from Bendix in 1997 after 30 years of service as a machine repairman. Karl was a member of the UAW Bendix Local 9, managed little league teams at Maurice Matthys, sparked a family legacy in motorcycles, loved to golf, fish and bowl, and spent the last 20 winters with his wife in Mission, Texas. On September 7, 1957 in Our Lady of Hungary Church he married the former Mary Klebusits who survives, along with a daughter Mary Lynn (Scott) Wurster, four sons Joseph Marozsan, Karl Marozsan Jr., Thomas (Jennifer) Marozsan and Patrick (Dawn) Marozsan, 7 grandchildren Lindsay (Chris) Eastman, Adam Wurster, Stephen Marozsan, Jonathan Marozsan, Jacob Marozsan, Wyatt Marozsan, and Casey Reed, a great-grand-daughter Madison Rose Wurster and several cousins. The family will be having private services on Monday, February 15, 2021 with a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
