PRIMA RICKE
Services were held Saturday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Morgan for Prima Ricke, 81, who died Tuesday, May 17, 1986 at Franklin Health Care Center. Rev. Richard Zwicky will officiate. Pallbearers were Ronald, John, Paul and LaVerne Ricke, Raymond Siemer and Kenneth Greenquist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Prima Ricke was born Sept. 13, 1904 in St. Leo, a daughter of Clem and Bertha Tretter Siemer. She moved with her family to Morgan in 1911 and attended St. Michael's Parochial School there. She married Leo Ricke at Morgan June 8, 1926. They farmed near Morgan until moving into the city in 1964. He died June 7, 1978. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Anne's Altar Society and St. Michael's Catholic Aid Society. Survivors include a son, Edward of Alexandria ; daughters, Delrose Ricke of Morgan and Mrs. Edward (Esther) Gall of Garden City, Kan.; six grandchildren; brothers, Frank Siemer of Sleepy Eye and Alvin Siemer of Albert Lea; and sisters, Clementine Edwards of St. Paul and Loretta Nelson of Glenwood. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Nelson Funeral Home handled arrangements.
