Obituary from p. 63 of the 2 JUN 1960 edition of the “Chicago Tribune”:

Services for Dr. L. J. Jurek, 69, a retired physician, will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday in St. Pancratius church, 40th place and Sacramento avenue. Dr. Jurek died Tuesday in his home at Indian Point, near Antioch. During World War II he served as a captain in the army medical corps. His widow Constance; two brothers; and five sisters survive.
