Gustave Marialke, 83, of 1730 S. Kendall St., died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after a month’s illness. He was a retired Sollitt Construction Co. mason. Born April 23, 1888 in Posen, Poland, he had lived here 59 years, coming from there. On March 21, 1914 in South Bend, he married Wanda Marialke, who survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Esther Nemes of South Bend; a grandchild and two sisters, both in Germany.Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the Zorahan Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Donald I. Kaufman, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ, officiates. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Thursday, May 13, 1971.
