Joseph W Urednick, 88, of Bremen, passed away September 2, 2012 at Bremen Health Care Center. Joseph was born March 7, 1924 in Mishawaka to Frank and Francis (Vergil) Urednick. He married Blanche Weldy on February 27 1942; she survives. Joseph served his Country Honorably during WW II in the United States Navy serving on the USS Nassau Aircraft Carrier. He was a lifetime member of the Bremen VFW and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Mishawaka. He enjoyed fishing and watching Notre Dame Football. Most of all, he cherished his family, spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed the many trips to Minnesota with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Blanche, daughter, Franni (Jay) Bowser of Winona Lake, four grandchildren, Greg Urednick, Angel Rummel, Gary Urednick, Phil Bowser, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Gregory and Joseph and three brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept 5 from 9-11 am at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral Services will be at 11 am, Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bremen Cemetery following the service with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
