Feb. 19, 1929 - July 31, 2015 GRANGER
- Rosemary J. Chlebowski, 86, of Granger, IN (formerly of Edwardsburg, MI) passed away at 5:50 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Brookdale Granger. She was born on February 19, 1929, to the late Benedict and Bertha (Bartkowiak) Wawrzyn-czak in South Bend, IN. Rosemary retired in 1995 from St. Joseph Medical Center, where she worked at a Unit Secretary for 30 years. On April 15, 1950, as Rosemary J. Wawrzyn-czak, she married Arthur L. Chlebowski in South Bend, IN. Rosemary is survived by her loving husband, Arthur of Granger, IN; three daughters, Martha Jo (Nicholas) Skrzeszewski of Granger, IN, Cheryl Ann (Stephen) Whitaker of South Bend, IN, and Anita (David) Holland of Niles, MI; one son, Matthew L. (Bonnie) Chlebowski of Edwards-burg, MI; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grand-children; a sister, Norma Jean Lundquist of South Bend, IN; and a brother, Richard L. Wawrzynczak of South Bend, IN. Rosemary was a current member of St. Pius X Parish in Granger, IN, and a former member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Edwardsburg, MI, where she belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society. She was also a member of American Legion Post #365 Auxiliary in Edwardsburg, MI, and the M.R. Falcon's Golf League. Cremation will take place. Visitation will be from 9:30 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County, 520 Crescent Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617; or to the Hospice Foundation, Supporting Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545-5243.
