Joseph Urbanski, aged 82, of 1705 West Sample street, died at 6:25 a.m. today in his home after an illness of two weeks. Born in Poznan province, Poland, March 1, 1860, he came to South Bend from Chicago 62 years ago. Surviving are the widow, Mary; four sons, Jacob, of Toledo, O., and Walter, Alex and Anthony, of South Bend; six daughters, Mrs. Stella Grzeskowski, Mrs. Martha Jozwiak, Mrs. Mary Werwas, Mrs. Blanche Tafelska, Mrs. Sophie Fill, and Mrs. Clemintine Kalka; two brothers, Jacob and Frank Urbanski, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Ewald, all of South Bend. Friends will be received in the home. The funeral will be hekld at 9a.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Holy Rosary Polish National Catholic church with Rev. Stanislaus Mrozek, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Josephs Polish cemetery. Mr. Urbanski was a member of St. Josephs society of the Polish Federation of America.
