Rose Marie Antonucci, 82, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away at 10:24 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle, Indiana. Rose Marie was born on August 13, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to James A. and Rose (Lacoco) Talerico, and had lived in New Carlisle for most of her life. She had been the co-owner of Antonucci and Sons General Contractors. On February 28, 1953 she married John G. Antonuci, Sr., her husband of 62 years, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Jaime Fraizer of Conifer, Colorado, John (Deborah) Antonucci, and Chris (Linda) Antonucci both of New Carlisle, Indiana; eight grandchildren, John (Tara) Antonucci, Adrianne (Joshua) Esquibel, Melissa (Jesse) Winefeldt, Mark (Kathy) Frazier, Michael Frazier, Cristal Mathews, Josh Matthews and Kayla Holowatuck; five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Bella, Jake, Callie, and Matteo; and one brother, John (Rosalie) Talerico of LaPorte, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 Noon, E.S.T. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, E.S.T. Tuesday in the church. Rose Marie was a 1951 graduate of New Carlisle High School. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish and Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the New Carlisle Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a Charter Member of Hesston Homemakers Extension Club of LaPorte County. She had been a volunteer at Miller's Merry Manor. Rose Marie was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle for their tender and compassionate care given to our mother.In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to Harbor Light Hospice.
