William Carl Petzold, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022. William was born in South Bend, IN, on December 16, 1945, to the late William and Gertrude (Swiatowy) Petzold. On September 13, 1963, he married the former Sueann Clark who preceded him in death on August 10, 2014. Surviving is his son, John Petzold; 3 grandchildren, Alisha, Justina and Karina; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Rosanne Antkowiak; and brother, Bob Petzold. Bill proudly served in the United State Army. He worked as a welder at Bendix and Honeywell until his retirement in 2003. He is a member of the American Legion Post 50. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
