[N16385] Raymond Jerome Tomaszewski. Born Jan 26, 1921, at Hamtramck MI (issue of 2269 ) as Chester, name changed legally in 1985 after passport denied due to wrong name, after he discovered his real name (he was in the Army as Raymond, and always thought his confirmation name of Raymond was his name). Ray was a Technical Sergeant in the Corp of Engineers, serving in the South Pacific, and in Korea, during WWII (he performed as a musician on accordian and piano with the troops). Ray was one of the founders of the South Bend/Mishawaka Youth Symphony and was their tympani player. Ray was a School Social Worker, and one of the best accordian players in the world. Married Kathryn Ruth Randall ( 1759 ), Rockford MI, Aug 21, 1948. Died, Aug 6, 1992 at Grand Rapids, Michigan.
