Albert was born to Frank & Josephine Tignanelli Marazita - Italian immigrants from San Ippolito, Cantanzaro, Calabria, Italy. The family lived in New York City, Chicago, Lansing & Benton Harbor, MI before coming to Niles in the early 1930's. Siblings were Joseph, Paul, Dominic, Ernest, Mary, Virginia, John, Anthony, Philip and Warren. At Niles Sr. High School - Albert was a member of the team's 800 relay squad which won the state championship with a state record time. He graduated from Niles High School in 1952 and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict - serving in the US Army. At the time of his passing - Albert was the second owner of the family founded - VENI SWEET SHOP where he had been employeed since 1958 - 46 years! He was very Civic Minded - Always giving back to his City of Niles. He was a devout Catholic - serving on many committees at St. Mary's and St. Mark's Churches. Albert is buried in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery in Niles. He never Married .
