SOUTH BEND - Charles W. Sult, 79, of South Bend, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Charles was born April 18, 1933, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, to William & Olive P. (Kurtz) Sult. Charles retired from South Bend Lathe with over 40 years of service. Charles is survived by his wife, Eva (Williams) Sult; and his daughters, Janice (John) Connors of New Carlisle, IN, Loretta Wireman of South Bend, IN, Juanita (Dave) Franks of South Bend, IN, Louise (Stephen) Keim of Waynesboro, VA, Marcia (Julian) Baldizon of South Bend, IN, Pam (Jerry) Clowers of South Bend, IN, & Debbie (Tony) Brauchler of St. Louis, MO. Sons, James & David, & sisters, Ruth Eleanor & Margie, all preceded him in death. Also surviving are grandchildren, Robert, Angie, Johnny, Michael, Tommy, Toni, Stephanie, Stacy, Paul, Lori, Michelle, Stevie, Michelle, Julie, Jonathan, Timothy, Eric, Mandy, Jaime, Daniel, Craig, Sonya, Jennifer, Kevin, Ryan, Christy, Kimmy & Suzy, 46 great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild. Charles graduated from Bremen High School. He enjoyed going south to Tennessee for the winter & fishing with his son-in-law, Julian. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where visitation will be from 12 noon - 1 p.m. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
