Mildred M. Klinedinst, 81, of Bluebonnet Lane, Granger, Ind., died at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, in Regency Place. Mildred had lived in this area most of her life. She was born in Woodville, Ohio on Jan. 10, 1918, to Wanda (Grawunder) and Albert Flick-Rice, who both preceded her in death. She married Dale Klinedinst in South Bend, Ind. on Sept. 2, 1939. He survives. Mildred is also survived by two daughters, Janice (Matthew) Zoncick of Las Vegas, Nev. and Anne (Cleve) Cross of Martinsville, Ind.; a son, Roger Klinedinst of North Liberty, Ind.; ten grandchildren, Michelle Belusar, Nicole (Robert) Herald, Tim (Janet) Klinedinst, Dan Klinedinst, Todd (Ellen) Klinedinst, Becky (Bill) Partipilo, Leighanne Cross, Brian Cross, Brooke Cross and Jim Cross; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Ryan; and by two sisters, Joanne Cassel of Three Rivers, Mich. and Frances Collins of Greenwood, Ind. Mildred was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Klinedinst in 1962. Mildred was a past member and officer of Parent Teachers Association, a 4-H leader for many years, and a member of the St. Joseph Valley Auxiliary Home Builders Association. She had been a current member of the LaPorte Area China Painters Guild, the Clara Shively Chapter of the China Art Association, the Happy Time Gal Homemakers Club, and she was on the Board of Directors of Prairie Lane Homeowners Association. She had been a member of Harris Prairie Church of Christ for 35 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Harris Prairie Church of Christ, with Dan Crosley and Ed Erskin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, and one hour prior to services in the church.
