Manus L. Wargo, 64, of 2102 Parkview Pl., died at 3 p.m. Sunday in his residence after an illness of four months. He was a retired Studebaker Corp. employee and was also a self-employed upholsterer. Born Nov. 19, 1905 in Beaverbrook, Pa., he came to South Bend in 1911 from Pennsylvania. On Jan. 19, 1937 in South Bend he married Lucille Delinski, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas L. of Indianapolis; a daughter, Miss Lucy Ann Wargo, of South Bend and two sisters, Mrs. Emery (Mary) Burkus of South Bend, and Mrs. Emery (Theresa) Toth of Pontiac, Mich. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. William J. Neidhart, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Wargo was a member of the church, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 357. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
